Wonderful hotel with friendly staff!

I spent the night at this hotel for a conference I was attending on-site. All staff were very friendly, check in was quick and the rooms were clean and spacious. Food at the bar was wonderful and the staff were helpful. It is a little pricey, but you are paying for good quality service and food. Location was wonderful for any Cornell event. Valet was affordable and the people working there were friendly, never took more than 10 minutes to get my car. Definitely recommend!

Wow Experience at The Statler Hotel

The staff were very friendly and courteous. They seem to do this effortlessly.Lovely hotel with great service. My room was beautiful, well adorned and comfortable.It had a premium and high quality feel.The working desk was great as well.

Outstanding Service under artic weather conditions.

Despite artic winds and temperatures, the Statler Hotel offered a level of service that warmed the heart and soul. My room and bed were warm, quiet, and comfortable. The quality of food, wine, and service in the lounge was excellent as well as the valet service who had to navigate the blowing snow and icy walkways.

Stay here if you're visiting Cornell or vacationing in the Finger Lakes

Perhaps I'm biased as a Cornell alumnus (not Hotel School) but this is a great place to stay. Nice, clean, comfortable and in the middle of one of the most beautiful college campuses in the world. A bit pricey compared to other options in Ithaca but worth it. The Taverna Banfi restaurant in the hotel is very nice (but the menu doesn't change much if you go there repeatedly) and the Reagent's Lounge next to the lobby has excellent small plates, burgers and drinks. Many of the rooms - especially the Tower View rooms - have great views of campus and beyond. Some of the student-staff also make a great effort to treat you well. Stay there!
