What Guests Say About Cornell's Landmark Hotel

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times, including last weekend, and every time it is a great experience. This is one of my favorite hotels for many reasons. The rooms are elegant and clean and comfortable. There is a great full service restaurant that we always choose for our first night there. The location is amazing - right on campus. And the service is incredible. I really felt like everyone there got to know us and cared about us. I told my husband that I thought the people who worked there must have all read Will Guidara's Unreasonable Hospitality because they went so far above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and even surprised us with an unexpected gesture. Oh, and did I mention this hotel is dog friendly? Our dog Buttercup was treated like a princess. I was sad to leave, and I can't wait to go back!

High quality comfort and elegance. The Statler includes an army of students at the hotel school getting practical experience in how to run a hotel, which makes for a refreshing staff, each ready to tell you when they graduate and what they are studying. This is clearly an ideal learning environment! Rooms are not huge but adequate in size, bedding is super comfy, towels and bathroom well designed, bathrobes are a nice touch. Prices are not cheap but reasonable considering the quality.
