  • Why should I get married at The Statler Hotel?
    The Statler Hotel is surrounded by the splendid beauty of the Cornell University campus and just a short walk from the iconic Sage Chapel. We offer the perfect backdrop for your one-of-a-kind wedding. Our uniquely crafted wedding experiences are designed to ease the worry of wedding planning and spark the imagination with sophisticated details. From our innovative cuisine and the youthful energy of our exceptional service to our elegant venue, The Statler Hotel is the ideal destination to begin your new life together.
  • Do I have to be a Cornell Alum or have a Cornell connection to get married at The Statler?
    The Statler Hotel is open to the public. We would be happy to talk with you about your wedding!
  • Can The Statler wedding experiences be modified?

    Yes, absolutely, we would love to learn more about you and your love story. Our team will be delighted to tailor an experience that fits your dreams!

  • Does The Statler offer wedding planning services?
    Our experienced wedding consultant is hands-on, dedicated, and passionate. She will work closely with you to custom design a unique wedding experience. She will oversee all details of everything and anything happening at The Statler during your wedding weekend.
  • Can I sample the menu items before the wedding?
    Yes, we offer a complimentary menu tasting for up to two guests. Tastings are scheduled Monday-Friday and last two to three hours. Our Wedding Consultant will provide details on how to arrange the tasting.
  • Do you allow outside caterers for food and beverage?
    With the exception of wedding cakes, we do not allow outside food or beverage to be brought onto the premises. At your wedding, you will delight your friends and family with cuisine created just for you by our amazing culinary team.
  • How big is the dance floor?
    The dance floor is constructed to suit your needs. Our wedding consultant will work closely with you to create a floor plan with a dance floor suitable for your guest numbers and room layout.
  • Can I extend the length of the reception?
    We are happy to extend your reception end time. The fee is $350 per additional hour.
  • Do you have suggested vendors that I can use?
    We do; when you book your wedding at The Statler Hotel, you will receive a preferred event partners list. You are also welcome to work with other suppliers not on the list.
  • Do you offer special overnight accommodations for the wedding couple?
    Yes, our wedding experiences include a complimentary suite for TWO NIGHTS. Our suites are spacious and the perfect location to get ready on your wedding day!
  • Can my guests book a special room rate if they wish to stay at The Statler?
    For your out-of-town guests, The Statler Hotel offers upscale comfort with rooms and suites designed to inspire effortless relaxation. The rate and number of rooms for your wedding room block is subject to availability. Our Wedding consultant will provide details for your specific weekend.
  • Where can my guests park?
    Parking is free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays at the parking garage, just a short walk away from the Statler. If you would like to offer valet parking to your guests, prior arrangements are necessary and subject to availability. The valet parking fee is $4.00 per person based on the guaranteed count for the wedding (excluding guests staying at the hotel). The charges will be applied to your final bill as our bell stand is not equipped to collect payment from individuals.
