Cornell Orchards features 22 acres of apples, grapes, stone fruits and berries in active research, including one certified organic orchard. The orchard supports several research projects to help grow the fruit industry and provide consumers with healthy, sustainable, high-quality fruit. The orchards are also a living laboratory to Cornell students giving future growers and researchers hands-on experience with fruit production.
Visit the Orchards each fall to taste apples, see how cider is made, and learn where fruit comes from. Stop by the Orchard Store for fruit and tastings.
Parking around the Orchard Store is free. Prices of items will vary.
Monday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m
The Orchard provides apple tree pruning workshops, live music, and local vendor sampling. On top of that, they have apples and seasonal berries to sample and take home.
Cornel Orchards is a research facility, and does not offer fruit picking. You can get apples and berries at the store.
