The trail connects to Cass Park, with stunning views of the Cayuga Lake Inlet and the hills above Ithaca, a skating rink, athletic fields, and tennis courts. Walk to the Crew Crow Overlook or the Cornell University boathouses.

Parking is free at Cass Park Ice Rink, Ithaca Children's Garden/Black Diamond Trail, Ithaca Farmers Market Trailhead, and Stewart Park Trailhead. To enjoy the shorter 2-mile loop park at the Cass Park Ice Rink or Ithaca Children's Garden.
Yes! The Waterfront Trail is a ten-foot wide asphalt trail designed for use by walkers, joggers, bicyclists, inline skaters, mobility-impaired users, and parents with strollers. You can rent bicycles at Ithaca Bike Rental, located to the left of the Stewart Park trailhead.
