If you don't know someone at Cornell, don't go

The place was nice, but it was not up to the 4-5 star experience. There was a drink left in our refrigerator from the guest before us when we checked in (so what else did they not check/clean?) They turned off the water overnight on the first night of our stay because of plumbing issue. (They did not offer a discount, just some free bottled water.) There was no info about the Cornell campus, so I am sure we missed some interesting things that were right under our noses. We asked for a map of the campus, which they gave us, but it was outdated (had the wrong street names because some street names were changed.) So, overall, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who does not have business at Cornell. (We were vacationing and thought it would be a good place to base ourselves.

Cornell Statler

Great service and atmosphere on the college campus. Very close to ball games and hockey, good walking paths. Student servers were well trained and extremely friendly. We go there a lot and although more expensive it is a great stay with excellent views

A Must Stay on the Cornell Campus.

This place is a gem. Newly renovated so beautiful and clean. Service from top to bottom impeccable. You’re staying on one of the most beautiful college campuses with incredible outdoor sites and activities. Ithaca is an awesome place to visit and the Statler Hotel is one of the best places to stay

This is excellent hotel

Despite being under reconstruction this hotel provides excellent service and made my stay very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and location is ideal if you are visiting Cornel University Campus

Excellence!

I have stayed at a lot of hotels this summer and The Statler Hotel was at the top of their game with every detail! My room was well appointed and incredibly clean. The staff was very nice and helpful! Everything was perfect and it was an enjoyable stay. The view of the campus is amazing too
